ABOUT
“Andrew Meza has set the international standard...The undisputed
champion of the beats.” - Shook Magazine
“BTS Radio is awesome...Andrew Meza is destroying the game right now.” - Flying Lotus (Warp/Brainfeeder)
Launched in 2003 by Andrew Meza as a local radio show at the University of Cal State Fullerton, the popularity of Meza's project soon snowballed alongside its cultural significance into a worldwide movement.
In 2005, Andrew's BTS radio show caught the attention of French artist, Charles Munka. Munka shared artwork inspired by the show which subsequently led to a partnership between him and Meza, and the unique visual identity of BTS.
Meza is known as one of the most influential tastemakers/djs, spotlighting underground talent and championing artists such as Flying Lotus, Hudson Mohawke, Blu, Black Moth Super Rainbow, Georgia Anne Muldrow & J*Davey when they were still unsigned names. Between 2003-2007, guest features on BTS included a slew of up and comers, seasoned & the legendary, including acts and members of: 4Hero, The Avalanches, Four Tet, Peanut Butter Wolf, Cinematic Orchestra, DJ Mitsu, Exile, KanKick, Eric Lau, Samiyam, Rustie and Jneiro Jarel among others.
Andrew Meza re-launched the BTS website in January 2010 to present the new wave and to bring you some of the most progressive, high quality and original music podcasts online.
